Melissa will be in Roanoke June 20th through 25th competing for the title of Miss Virginia 2005. The beginning of the week is spent with registration, photo ops, rehearsing, visiting the golfers in the Miss Virginia Cup Tournament, standing in line for the reception held on Tuesday, etc. Competition starts on Thursday with swimsuit and evening gown, Talent on Friday, and the finals on Saturday, June 25, 2005.
